Increased conversions and user engagement on the Slovak and Czech Rituals e-shop

Rituals is a leading cosmetic brand that offers high quality products to enrich the body and soul - from cosmetics for body and skin care, to scented candles and sticks, perfumes and household products.

Main challenges

The Slovak e-shop Rituals-cosmetics.sk (as well as the Czech e-shop Rituals.cz) used an external solution for searching recommendation areas. There was dissatisfaction with the flexibility of changes in recommendation and search logic, especially in connection with seasonal campaigns, customer support, and poor-quality reporting.

The goal was to increase the level of personalization of the products offered, to be able to parameterize the recommendation and search in response to seasonality or boosting of specific categories. The lack of a wizard for personalized communication with customers was also a theme.

Solution

Thanks to simple FE integration, Rituals e-shops had no worries about switching to our solution. We took care of everything on our end – from designing and fine-tuning the recommendation areas to setting up the search function, including semantic features, to creating a unique shopping guide – the Gift Finder, as a separate web application for natural communication with customers.

Thanks to the implementation of Perselio Search, conversions increased by 10% and user engagement by 12%. Sales from recommendation areas increased by up to 50% on individual recommendation areas thanks to the high level of personalization compared to competing solutions.
